Restored in Prayer

When you pray, God restores.

Restored in Prayer

I started Restored in Prayer because of a simple conviction that has not let go of me: a daily, honest conversation with God can change a life more than almost anything else in this world.

So much of the Christian life happens in ordinary moments. A quiet morning before the house wakes up. A pause in the middle of a hard week to remember who God is. A prayer whispered through tears, or one whispered out of gratitude that nothing else has the words for. Restored in Prayer exists to walk alongside you in those moments, with devotionals, prayers, and biblical encouragement that take Scripture seriously and meet you exactly where you are.

This is not a place for empty platitudes or a faith that only works on the good days. Life is hard. Doubt is real. Grief takes longer than we want it to. Marriages struggle. Prayers go unanswered for longer than feels bearable. And in the middle of all of it, God is present, faithful, and still speaking. Everything written here is shaped by that belief.

What You Will Find Here

Restored in Prayer offers daily devotionals grounded in Scripture, practical guides to prayer and Bible reading, and honest writing on the questions that matter most. Whether you are taking your first steps in faith or you have walked with God for decades and are simply tired, there is something here for you. The content spans the full range of the Christian life: how to pray when words will not come, how to read the Bible without feeling overwhelmed, how to forgive what feels unforgivable, how to hold on to hope after loss, and how to recognize the voice of God in the middle of an ordinary day.

Every piece is written with care, rooted in Scripture, and tested against one simple question: will this genuinely help someone draw closer to God today.

The Heart Behind It

My hope for Restored in Prayer is not that you would simply read something encouraging and move on. My hope is that you would build a daily rhythm of prayer and Scripture that quietly becomes the steadiest thing in your life. The kind of habit that holds you on your hardest days and deepens your joy on your best ones. Psalm 16:11 says that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy. That fullness is not reserved for people who have it all figured out. It is available right now, in whatever season you are in, to anyone willing to draw near.

If something here has encouraged you, challenged you, or met you in a hard moment, I would love for you to come back. This is a place to return to, again and again, as you grow in your walk with God.

Thank you for being here. Let’s keep praying, together.
